POST 4: FOOD

 Well, I think I have always been a little peculiar when it comes to food, especially when it comes to choosing my favorite food, since I was a child I have always liked fruits and vegetables, I was the happiest girl if at lunchtime there was a salad of lettuce or green apple with lemon and salt. When I get sick to my stomach, I think that the best remedy is apple cooked with cinnamon, but one of my favorite fruits, if not my favorite is watermelon, one of the few reasons why I like the summer season is because it is synonymous with season is watermelon, a juicy, sweet fruit and that many people do not like because of the large amount of seeds it contains, It comes from a creeping plant belonging to the cucurbitaceae family, it is made up of 90% water, some of its contributions to health are the large amount of amino acids it has, which helps blood circulation, it also has vitamin A which helps eye health and is diuretic which helps to take care of the kidneys. 

I think one of the reasons why I like it so much, is that it is sweet, and I associate it to a time of not so much hustle and bustle, since the richest are only available in summer, some anecdotes I have with this fruit, is that a friend gave me a giant watermelon for a birthday, plus I always get related things, for example towels with watermelon print, watermelon-flavored gum, watermelon-shaped candy, etc..
