POST 8: MOVIES AND/OR SERIES THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND
I think one of my favorite ways to spend my free time in a not so productive way is through movies or series, one in particular that marked my life in a certain way is "if i stay", it is a movie based on the book of the same name written by Gayle Forman. If i stay is directed by R.J. Cultler and tells the story of Mia Hall, a teenage cello prodigy, who at first is anxiously awaiting her acceptance or rejection letter from Juilliart University and at the same time with an internal debate of leaving her town, her friends, her boyfriend and her family if she is accepted to the university. The film begins with an analogy between how Ludwig van Beethoven, after becoming deaf, reinvented his video from instrumentalist to composer and how Mia's family has had to reinvent itself and how they have found their vocation in those changes.
